  • We do not remove hard gel, powder, or acrylic soak-off from other salons. These products require machine filing, which can potentially damage and thin natural nails. At Mellow Bar, we prioritize the health of your nails through careful steps and the use of healthy products.

  • Clients are welcome to inquire about add-on services, such as designs, sculpting, or pedicure treatments, when they arrive. However, add-on inquiries are not guaranteed as we are by-appointments only. We will do our best to accommodate your request, time permitting.

    If you’re considering an add-on, we recommend reaching out to customer service in advance so we can ensure we have enough time to accommodate your needs.

  • The Atelier is services offered by our Top Nail Artists, available at both locations.

    The Cocktail Menu is a collection of nail art designs that we update seasonally, featuring designs by our team.

  • Our Japanese Gel offers a combination of strength and flexibility, elevating it beyond the regular gel offerings on the market. At Mellow Bar, we've carefully selected Japanese Gel products for you.

    There are various Japanese Gel brands in the market with different ingredients and functionalities. The Japanese Gel Mellow Bar carries are non-toxic, vegan and gentle. Our base coat is breathable so it helps to keep your nails healthy and reduce dryness. Our product also can bend with your natural nails, providing enhanced protection to prevent splitting.

  • Unfortunately, we do not offer polish/color change services.

    At Mellow Bar, we focus on providing high-quality hand and foot care that go beyond a simple polish application. Our services include nail care, shaping, and polish or gel applications to ensure your nails look and feel their best.

  • Clients are welcome to bring their own polish with base and top coats for regular Dazzle Dry appointments.

    However, we do not allow outside gel products. This policy ensures we maintain a controlled environment, guaranteeing consistency, safety, and the best possible results for all clients.

    We’ve carefully selected our products to meet high standards, and using outside products could risk contamination or affect the outcome of your service.

  • We do not accept fixes or refills from other salons. To ensure the best results and quality of service, we offer clients to start fresh with a full set using our products and techniques.

  • To ensure the health and safety of all our clients and staff, we kindly ask that you let us know if you are currently experiencing any of the following nail or skin conditions:

    • Discoloration on nails such as Green, Black or Gray areas

    • Mold or fungal growth on the nails

    • Nail splitting or severe damage

    • Signs of bacterial infection (e.g., redness, swelling)

    • Inflammation on or around the nail bed or surrounding skin

    If you are experiencing any of the above, Mellow Bar is unable to provide nail services without a doctor’s clearance. This policy helps us maintain a safe and hygienic environment for everyone.

  • At Mellow Bar, we work with a curated selection of high-quality, non-toxic gel systems — including a signature line used exclusively in our services, as well as trusted brands like Leafgel.

    Our products are chosen for their performance, safety, and ability to support long-term nail health.

  • Sculpting is an extra layer of gel before the color that helps to create a smooth and perfect looking nail surface. It’s not nail extension.

    We offer two types of sculpting:

    • Natural Nail Sculpting (No Refill): A thin layer of non-toxic gel is applied to create natural-looking shapes for flat or uneven nails. It’s ideal for short nails with ridges or bumps, but it’s not refillable and needs to be soaked off each time.

    • Full Nail Sculpting/Refill: This involves a thicker layer of gel to create a perfect nail surfaces with peaks, making it suitable for longer nails. It can be refilled 2-3 times, after which it needs to be soaked off. The refill process leaves a thin layer of gel on nail to avoid soak-off.

  • In your confirmation email find “Manage Appointment”. You will be led to a new page where you can find “Modify” next to your appointment details. After clicking on “Modify” you will be given choices with “cancel”.

    To cancel an appointment within the 24 hours before your appointment time, please contact customer service for help.

  • We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, a Late Cancellation Fee of 50% of your service fee will be charged. This fee can be issued as store credit, which can be used toward a new appointment within 7 days.

    If we do not receive a response to our ETA text or any communication from you regarding lateness or cancellation before or after the grace period, the appointment will be considered a No Show, and a non-refundable full charge for the service booked will apply.

  • If our team has not received a response to our ETA text, or a message from Client notifying us of possible Lateness, or Cancellation before or past the grace period, it will be considered as a No Show. There will be a non-refundable full charge of the service booked. We recommend that clients contact our Customer Service team if there seems to be a miscommunication that has occurred.

  • Appointments will only be kept only 10 Mins after the Client’s set time of arrival. We recommend that a Client contact us at least 30 Mins ahead if they will be more than 10 Mins late so that we can try our best to accommodate their appointment. Failure to notify us at least 30 mins ahead will cause a cancellation of the appointment with charge. That charge will be issued as a store credit which can be redeemed on a new appointment that is within the next 7 days.

  • A credit card on file is required by our booking system to secure your appointment at Mellow Bar.

    You can add your card details by creating an account and booking through our website and booking system. Alternatively, you’re welcome to reach out to our customer service team, and we can securely take your card details over the phone.

  • All services are not refundable once the service is completed. We encourage clients to contact customer service if they have feedback or an inquiry about the service received. Store credits will be issued based on a Client's situation and circumstance.

  • Send us a picture of the nails to our customer service team as soon as the chipping happens and we always offer free fix within 4 DAYS for regular polish and free fix within 7 DAYS for regular gel and Japanese gel polish.

  • We do not hold appointments at Mellow Bar.

    To book an appointment, create an account with our booking system. Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

  • By booking with us, you automatically sign up for our email marketing. You’ll receive updates, promotions, and news from Mellow Bar. If you'd like to unsubscribe at any time, you can easily opt out through the link provided in our emails.

  • Mellow Bar membership monthly fee is $80 and will be automatically charged every month.

  • You can book your manicure just like any other appointment, either through the booking portal on our website at mellow-bar.com, or by contacting us directly. Your free manicure will be applied at checkout.

  • Members can get unlimited free gel soak-offs, for both hands and feet. It includes soak-offs from our salon as well as from other salons.

  • At Mellow Bar, our membership is designed to help you maintain healthy, glowing nails through consistency. That said, we completely understand that life can get busy!

    If you plan to take a break for more than three months, you can pause (freeze) your membership. Simply notify us one billing cycle (4 weeks) in advance by filling out this Membership Adjustment Form. If notice isn’t provided within that timeframe, the next month’s billing will still be processed, and the pause will begin the following month.

    If you’d like to freeze your membership for less than 3 months, you’ll need to cancel and re-start when you are ready. Please note that if you cancel your membership and restart a new one, we cannot guarantee your original membership pricing.

    In the case of pregnancy, military deployment, or medical accommodation, please contact us for alternative options.

  • Please let us know at least 30 days before your next scheduled payment is required to cancel your membership plan. No refunds will be issued after the monthly membership due has been charged or paid in full.

    There are two ways to cancel your membership:

  • The included monthly manicure cannot be rolled over or accumulated to the following month, and any unused manicures will be forfeited at the end of each billing cycle. Each month’s service credit resets at the start of your new billing cycle.

  • If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, the late cancellation fee of 50% of your original service price will still apply, and this amount will be added to your profile as credit. However, your credit will not expire; you can use it toward add-ons or for a second manicure within the same 30-day period.

    If you don’t show up for your appointment without notice, no additional fee will be charged, but you’ll forfeit your complimentary monthly manicure for that billing period.

  • Members receive 10% off gift card purchases of $150 or more. To purchase a digital gift card, please contact our customer support team or use this form.

    Physical gift cards with the discount are also available for purchase in-salon.

  • Memberships are designed just for you, so they can’t be shared or transferred. But if you’d love to treat someone, we always welcome gift cards (10% off when you buy $150 or more) or booking an additional service for a friend! (full service price will apply)

  • Free soak-offs are just for you, our valued member! Guests will still be charged the regular soak-off prices, and they won’t be able to use your member discounts on products or services.

  • Failure of payment will cause your Membership to be temporarily disabled until we receive an updated payment method. During the disabled period we are unable to offer member discounts. Any services booked during the disabled period will be charged as non-member price.

    If Mellow Bar does not receive a valid updated payment method in 7 days, your membership will be automatically discontinued. You will need to join the waitlist in order to activate a new membership.

    All failed payments including late cancellation fee, no-show cancellation fee, membership fee will cause a temporary freeze on the account. No appointments can be booked until a new valid payment method is provided​.

  • Your membership renews automatically on the same date you originally signed up. For example, if you joined on the 10th, your monthly billing will recur on the 10th of each month.
